It took years for this to be announced. It is like a whimpering call in the wake of being bludgeoned by the current flue virus for this announcement to be made, the announcement that a super flu shot, may be on the horizon to protect us for years.
This announcement was just made in fact in CNN’s Situation Room by Joe Johns siting in for the Wolf. The spokesman for this issue dubbed it a universal vaccine that will prevent the yearly drift of the virus into places they cannot follow, or find it hard to fallow, even with stronger medications.
The scare today is that the current strain may even be anti-resistant to the current flu shot. For crying out loud it may have adapted to this fire like the Borgs of Starship Enterprise.
The irksomeness of this announcement is that it may be available in ten years time. Putting that in perspective, my little one will be fifteen then and my oldest twenty. It would be ten years if everything goes right for something to be available to fight a virus that will be ten years stronger from what it is now. Now obviously a lot of questions must be asked here which unfortunately were not asked on the CNN program.
The first question that comes to mind is will the production of the vaccine take into consideration that fact, that the thing is progressively getting smarter and stronger and so the final product will have to be calculatively ten years stronger than is now proposed to be?
Fundamentally this is the question! as anything weaker than the proposed one will be useless ten years later. Now isn’t that a lot of money and time wasted? I do believe if proper questions are not asked the good intentions of any endeavor could go the same route that many such have gone, and that is just a money making vehicle for some people, for a while and then the project is abandoned.
Now am I for this idea? yea and nay, and that may sound strange. You see my friend I have been convinced that we already have a cure for the flu. That this cure is locked up in a vault in the mountain or somewhere up north. We are secured that if the deadliest virus know to man ever gets out that we could just zap it and kill it summarily. This was recently demonstrated on a science channel.
So until the flu is killing off people like flies it will only be classified as a nuisance disease making a lot of people rich, a few dead as collateral damage.
Only then will the silver bullet be used and not before that time. In my ways of thinking and observing, it is no wonder that I am not hopeful where this idea is concerned. Let me ask this, what happened to the concept and idea of a car running on sea water? What happened to the concept and idea of solar energy to power almost anything that moves? Taking just those two you can see how many people would loose investments and power, and affluence, of which the forces are not prepared to topple.
I am the firm belief that if the person interviewed on CNN had a present and immediate cure for the clear and present danger of the flu, he probably wouldn’t be on TV. He could sell his silence for enough money to buy his own island and ride off into his sunset of riches leaving us unfortunates behind.
So what do we do in the meantime between time? Become proactive with your health, war for good health, go back to indigenous methods known to fight if not cure flu. Arm yourself with these available information. Remember it is your DONKEY IN THE HOLE not theirs! Remember you got to put your shoulder to the wheel and don’t let your donkey stay in the hole. Remember it is all about survival, until no resident will say “I am sick.”
I had what is dubbed the man flu in some circles, but as a survivalist I survived it. See my survival story entitled Prostate Cancer And Me…Or you, The Two Stages, (Man To Man) and other inspirational expressions at this link amazon.com/author/lloydmartin
Till then walk good and pack light.
