The 1999 twirler of equally devastating power, along with this 2013 phenomenon, will no doubt enforce or reinforce the will of the people to survive, and hence to build more wind deflecting buildings, with more tornado resistant bases. This has to be the strategy as it is obvious that Tornado Alley will see more destructive big twisters that will expand miles in width, with wind powers of 190 MPH or more.
So to prevent many more from suffering and many more from dying, action must be taken.
Earlier I expressed the thought that we have to take actions for our health, but today I continue to be so ploughed up over the idea that we are not, and probably will never, take actions to protect or preserve our health. One of the recent actions I took to experience and have a better quality of health, was to stop eating meat. I have no desire for anything produced with steroids and growth hormones along with antibiotics and what else. (See The Real Reasons We Die Pts. 1& 2 of a previous blog).
Since then I have been on a campaign against meat like a wild horse going the wrong way.
One of the persons I have been working on, is someone very dear to me, and none other than my wife. I was in an awkward situation the other day when I was asked to cook a steak for her. What do I do now, this new convert of natural living and anti-meat gladiator? Well she is wife and what wifey wants wifey gets. So I made her a steak in good ole Lloyd Martin style, with a little Jamaican jerk seasoning basing both sides and seared on a hot grill (both sides) with a pink in the middle, and whulla it was bon appetit time. It smelled so good when it was being cooked! I even saw a few neighbors sniffing the air like bloodhound dogs, to get whiffs of burnt meat and Jamaican jerk seasoning.
I then told myself that I had to taste a piece of this rib-eye for the last time.
I did taste it, for the last time, twirled it around my mouth for what seems like eternity, compared to when I was eating steaks. I found too that my swallowing apparatus was very uncooperative and it was as if my stomach was telling my mouth not to send that thing down there. Needless to say I could hardly swollow and had to force it down like medicine. I had the sinking feeling that I was actually poisoning myself and hadn’t it deemed uncouth I probably would have regurgitate that unsavory ball of flesh(with Jamaican Jerk seasoning). My wife’s reaction to my action was that “Maybe I shouldn’t eat any more beef”. I consider this in the way that my fish is biting and can’t wait to set the hook and reel her in, and away, from the flesh eating world.
Can you imagine the relationship that one who eats meat has with the mercer disease! Indeed they are both flesh eating organisms. (At least in my opinion). I dare say, this one point should change some minds. YOU THINK!
But lets get back to taking action. There comes a time when people have to take actions FOR REAL. Failure to do so invariably contributes to other factors of misery, and in cases of your health even premature and debilitating death.
Another friend I was working on with this meat thing, and who have a protruding rear end, Plush face and lardy frame, told me point blank, and in Sweet Brown style “Aint no body got time fo dat!” Indeed, what she was saying was “let me be fat and unhealthy as nobody got time for good health”.
No time I say to do one good act for you, that could not only make you healthier but could save your life from red meat traumas.
Well, maybe not everyone wants to be healthy. Maybe not everyone wants to give up a nice juicy steak with its dead juice mixed with A-1 steak, or Jamaican jerk seasoning, running down your throat. Maybe not everyone wants to be survivors, and healthy ones at that.
My heart goes out to the people today, of Oklahoma, who has suffered so much form the devastation. They will survive though as they are ready to take action. They do have time for that.
I took action and survived prostate cancer, and I will now join with them and other survivors of various things.
It cannot be overly emphasized that we must take actions if we want better. But who will listen to me though? For all and sundry I am just a little chirpy bird high upon a tree top in the forest of the amazon, and most people “aint got time fo dat”
